This style is true to size. We recommend purchasing the size that corresponds with your waist measurement; for instance, if your waist measures 28 inches, go for size 28. If you're between sizes and prefer a closer, fitted look, please size down. If you're between sizes and prefer a relaxed, comfortable fit, please size up.

Barrel-ish on Tall, Baggy-Chic on Petite Me
I’m 5’0” with a 30” waist, and the Kit Trousers fit perfectly, no tailoring needed! On me, they wear more baggy than barrel, which I love. The 26” inseam hits just right, and size 30 is comfy enough to sit in all day at my desk. Great structure, no pinching. Petites don’t worry, these work beautifully off the rack!
I'm 5'0" with a 30" waist, and I can confidently say the Kit Trousers are the best-fitting jeans I've ever owned, no tailoring needed! I'm petite, and it's rare to find denim that works right off the rack, but these truly do. I've been wearing them regularly, and I absolutely love how comfortable they feel while still looking effortlessly cool.
On me, the fit leans more toward baggy rather than barrel, which I actually really like. The style gives me a relaxed, artful vibe without being overwhelming. The 26" inseam hits perfectly at the ankle (a rare win for petites!), and the 100% cotton fabric feels structured but breathable.
I'm so glad I chose size 30. I debated going down to 28, and while that size might have worked standing up, it wouldn't have been comfortable for sitting, especially since I sit at a desk most of the day. The cut and fabric drape beautifully in the size I picked, and I feel great wearing them. If you're petite and unsure how these will fit, don't stress; the Kit Trousers work beautifully off the rack.
I have these in three different washes because I love them so much. The perfect cut for a girl with thighs / a booty that aims for an Androgynous / Japanese City Boy / French workwear vibe. Plus they are my most comfortable denim to boot!
Worn the raw denim version for a full year and still looks fresh and crisp.
I purchased the kit in Epson. I had ordered the 30 and then worried it would be too small so they switched for the 32. I think I should have stayed with the 30, but will keep these as the slouchy relaxed fit still works.
Great quality cotton, super washed black. Dealing with the folks at decade - they are so helpful. These are my second pair from decade and I am saving up now for my third;)
